SAT/SAT subject question?

I am planning on going to a UC (University of California school) or if possible, Cal State Berkeley. I need an SAT score as well as two subject scores while applying.
I took the SAT already and got a 1970.
I have taken two subject tests also:
Biology and I got a 700
Math Level 2 and I got a 590
Now, here’s the question. I am registering for the September SAT and I must choose to re-take the SAT or take more subject tests. I cannot do both before applying in November. Should I try to improve my SAT score or focus more on getting better SAT subject scores? Please help.

How many times did you take the ACT, SAT, and the same SAT Subject Tests? Did you do better each time, or after a while does it not get any better?

I took the SAT in March and got a 1930
I took the ACT today, I got 30′s on both my practice tests

Should I take the SAT subject tests as well? I have 3 AP tests in May in Chemistry, Statistics, and Euro. I feel like signing up for subject tests would be even more stressful to study for, especially if I really don’t need to.

So my question is, how important are subject tests to colleges? I know the majority of colleges don’t require them, but some recommend them. Any juniors/ seniors/ college students /adults that can give advice? Thanks!

ACT/SAT Testing & CSU question.?

Hello everyone. I’m kind of in a rut right now. I signed up for my ACT testing WITHOUT the essay portion with my only fee waiver for the ACT. I can’t cancel the test. I’m planning on attending a Cal State University. Most likely CSU Long Beach.

Does anyone know if CSULB requires that essay portion of the test?
I know for sure that they only need SAT 1. & there’s no need for subject tests.
But the ACT essay portion is worrying me.

SAT Subject Tests: Can you find answers online?

I remember after I took the SAT Reasoning, a few months later scores were online and I could check which answers I got right and wrong. Last June I took the SAT Subject Tests, and have seen my results. Is there any place on the SAT website where I can look over my answers to improve?

If not, how could I improve for them? (I took the Chemistry, Math 1, and Math 2.)

SAT Reasoning or Subject?

I got a 1990 on the general SAT test, and after taking the same subject tests twice, got around a 620 on each of those. My reasoning score is good, but since I have only one last chance to take the SAT again I want to make it even better. But now since my subject test scores aren’t that great, I’m wondering if i should take it a third time. I also know that I could improve on the SAT reasoning, but since i’ve already take the subject tests twice and haven’t improved, i don’t know if I’ll actually improve this third time. I’m stuck because I’m not sure which is more important and I only have one chance to take either.

so im hoping to get into cal berkely and with maybe a bunch of luck cal tech or some other engineering school like that…
on the subject tests i got:
math 2-800
physics- 800
chem- 770

regular SAT
math 770
crit reading 690
writing 680

AP tests
Euro-5
US history- 4
Chem-5

i was considering retaking the chem one (chem is my best subject… i was best in my AP class and raped the AP exam but the sat test was full of random things that i could have learned if i took some time to prepare, which i didnt, or i might just let my teacher write a good letter of recommendation to cover for that) and im pretty sure ill retake the regular SAT because i had absolutely no preparation and i think if i take a couple practice tests like i did for the math and physics ones ill do better

unfortunately, since im a lazy butthole my junior year GPA is 4.3

oh ya, and also i heard colleges care about if you take the hardest classes you can, which is what i do pretty much (except for english)
and ill be an eagle scout soon
and i won the fine arts award for my school this year
do i have a chance at getting into those schools?
