I got a 19 on my first real practice ACT…i have a few questions…?

I am enrolled in Kaplan ACT prep classes. Saturday was my first day so we took our diagnostic ACT test. It was the practice one and i got a 19. I know that i just started the class so i have so much more to learn but im kind of discouraged about my 19. That’s such a bad score. I did worst on math and science…math because i simply took too long i guess and i didnt remeber much of the questions. Also science because i didnt even get to the third and fourth passage when the lady said "5 minutes".
Any words of advice??
Plus…does anyone know of any ACT prac. exams online which i can take but which times me….that’s what i need to work on most..i cant time myself so i need something that will time for me

What is the best way to prepare for upcoming SAT?

Should i take the kaplan or princeton review course prep classes or studying myself? How do you prepare for SAT?

Stupid SAT's-What is the best way to prepare for the PSAT and then the SAT?

Ok, so I’m just wondering what is the best way to prepare. Like in your opinion, which SAT prep book is the best and which SAT prep classes are good as well. Right now, I am in incoming Sophomore and I plan on taking my PSAT for practice in preparation for the real one when I’m a junior. I feel like since this is the summer, it is the best time to study. Though, I have a few questions:

Is it too early to study?
What is the most time efficient way to study and prepare?
From other similar questions I read and the answers to them, I should go and take LOTS AND LOTS of practice tests, but, I kind of don’t want to take them until I improve my vocabulary.
Or do you think I should just take a few practice tests right now regardless of how pathetic my vocab is?
What are some good ways to memorize vocab and improve on grammar/puncutation/critical reading in general?
In your opinion/personal experience, which prep books are the best?
Oh, and when you do buy a practice book, do you actually read what they write or skip straight to the practice tests?

What are some other good ways to study for the PSAT/SAT?

Which SAT prep courses/classes are the best?

I would like to take SAT prep classes in the summer (I’m currently a sophomore). Which program has the best results? For example: Princeton Review, Kaplan, Sylvan, a private tutoring place, etc?

I got a 23 on my ACT without studying at all, by how much could I up my score with studying?

I took the test with zero studying/prep classes to see how it goes and what type of questions I am dealing with. I do not want to settle with a 23, I am hoping to achieve at least a 27. With studying and possibly a tutor, what are you’re estimates of scores I could possibly receive?

Need a ACT PREP CLASS?

Where is a good place to take ACT Prep classes in St. Louis Mo. and the cost

Which is the best SAT or ACT prep course?

I’m a junior and am completely lost with college and SAT stuff….I want to go into a really good college but my practice SAT scores aren’t looking so great(I took an ACT/SAT combo test with Kaplan and got 1875 SAT and 29 ACT)…which prep classes are best and why? Revolution,Kaplan, Princeton or anything else? Im aiming for 2200 and 33…but it really seems out of reach…

SAT/ACT prep courses: Helpful? Waste of money? Necessary? What were your experiences?

My parents have been pressuring me to take an SAT prep course as well as an ACT prep course. I feel like they are too much money. I have bought prep books and have been taking practice tests. I was wondering what everyone’s experiences were with SAT prep classes.

Would just using books and studying a lot suffice? I need to save money
