Hi, to those that have taken the SAT already and taken SAT prep classes, I would really appreciate it if you can tell me if I study hard from a SAT Study Book, will it be much difference than taking a SAT Prep Course that is 0-00?
The reason I’m picking this over the "actually going to the sat prep classes" is because of time and money.
I know people say that SAT prep classes are waste of money because you can do it on your own from SAT prep books, but I’m not a very self-motivated person, so no matter how motivated I am one night, the next day I get back to the lazy schedule :/ Sooo do you think online prep classes will help me?
I’m looking into the Kaplan online prep course the most. Any experiences?

I took the ACT 2 times and got 19 on both. I wanted to know to to raise the score, though i am going to be taking prep classes. My GPA is 4.3 weighted and i am in 5 AP classes. I am in tons of Activies yet i still score low on standarized testing. Ideally, i want my score to be around a 23-27. Any ideas or tips. Thank you 
P.S i have already tooken like 20 practice ACT tests and finished the whole princeton review book, but im still lost.

I have taken ACT twice and i had a 17 both time. I took ACT Prep Classes and Got a 18. For the people who have over a 20…
What did you do to get the score you have.? (i.e, read alot)

Is it true they grade on different curves and what exactly does that mean?
Is it fair that they make one test "harder" than another?
My highest score is a 1670, but I’ve improved with prep classes, will taking the test in October hinder my chances of getting a 1900-2000?
I just got done taking my ACTs today, and how do you think you did? I think the science section was killer. Math, was easy, reading was easy and grammar was easy. But science and the writing section were hard.
I guess everyone struggles with one section (unless you’re perfect, lucky people). But I dunno, the graphs this time, just seemed weird.
I took the ACT prep classes, and the graphs were different to me.
I suck at science too, my highest score for science was a 21, that was my lowest overall score.
Im going to be taking the ACT soon and I really want to prepare for it. Does anyone know of any companies that may offer prep classes and also give out a scholarship (like princeton review i know it does not give a scholarship but I am just using it as an example). Also any that you know are good would be better.
