Is the College Board provided practice test for the Bio SAT really real tests? I found that on their practice test, I scored much higher than on the practice tests of Barron, Kaplan, Sparknotes

I am a junior in high school taking the SAT this march and I have been trying to study by myself to save money. On recent practice tests, I have gotten scores like 1850/1860 and my goal for my first attempt at the SAT is above a 1950 [getting above a 1950 means my parents will let me go on vacation with my friend's family this summer!]. I just enrolled in this online course a couple days ago and I have three weeks to improve my grade. My breakdown was as follows: Critical Reading- Writing- 650 and Math-650. I feel like i should be able to get at least around a 750 in math because I’m in Calculus, so maybe i was just having a bad day. Do you think the Collegeboard Online SAT course will help me or should i do something else? Also, what other ways are good to study at this point? Please take some time to answer. Thank you!

I attend a sat prep class and they always tell me to take a full length practice test almost once every two weeks. It’s about 3 1/2 hours long, and it seems like it’s taking away half of my day, when I can practice just the part(critical reading, which I need help on) at home.

1. Many people say full length practice tests are helpful..How?
2. Full length practice test vs. Critical Reading practice for 3hrs?

Exactly as the question asks. I know the Real ACT prep guide is for practice tests but I wish to learn the actual content of the test.
Any recommendations?

Okay, I did some practice tests for my SAT before taking it on March. I took it and during the test I felt great and everything, I did not even fall asleep during the test. I got the results back and I got a freaking 1430!

I took about 3 practice tests for the SAT but the sad thing is that I go to an extremely difficult school which gives A LOT of HW. I was a junior and I took it in March, the weekend before the graduation tests.

1. What went wrong? (any guesses?)
So does that mean I am just not good enough?
I mean can I do something to raise it to the 2000s range?

Like, good practice books with just tests that are very similar to ACT tests. I got screwed over with SAT Princeton Review test book because most of the questions were unfamiliar and had far too many errors.

Also, does anyone know of any good workbooks? Books with just math, science, reading and writing? I’m using the Math/Science workbook from Kaplan now and it has TONS of errors.

I heard Mcgraw Hill has excellent practice tests and good math workbooks. Can anyone help a sista out?

I am taking SAT practice tests online and every test I get about 20% right and 80% wrong. I study a lot but I just seem to suck at the test.

How can I understand these tests?

I have practiced countless times from the Official SAT study guide book on each section, and I have also implemented the proper time constraints.

Do my scores on the Official SAT study guide practice tests serve as accurate predictors of my possible score on the SAT?

Does anyone know of any sites where I can print practice test questions for the ACT? I have a friend who needs to take this test; I threw out my old practice tests and I can’t help him until I have some practice worksheets. Can someone help me out please?

Does anyone know where I can download some SAT practice tests….rather than having to buy a book (SAT I….not subject)
