Should I take SAT classes over the summer if I am planning to take SAT in spring?

I am planning to take the spring SAT my first time my junior year in the spring. My math in junior year is the normal avergae Algebra 2. This is because I am in normal math and will not be able to take the SAT in ocotber due to my incapability to complete Algebra 2 questions.

Should I take the courses in summer tho since it will help in my PSAT and future SAT?

How did I do on my ACT test (scores)?

I just got my ACT test scores back. Here they are:

Composite score: 23

English: 27
Math: 18
Reading: 26
Science: 21

I am in the 69th percentile in the U.S.

So how did I do? I know nothing about the ACT scoring system, and I cant seem to get a clear answer off google. Will I get into a university with this score?
I got an 8 on the essay portion.

What was your SAT score the first time you took it?

(as a high schooler… 7th grade Talent Search doesn’t count =)

1)What were your Critical Reading, Math, Writing, and Essay scores? (or Math and Verbal if Old SAT)
2) When, and What grade were you in (ex. November of junior year)
3) If you took it multiple times, did you improve?
4) I’m getting my scores tomorrow… predict my scores! (just for fun… I’m not taking any of these seriously) =)
5) If you took the November test, predict YOUR scores =)

Can I get into collegel with a 2.9 highschool gpa?

So, there is some reasoning behind the low figure. I went to a very difficult prep school for the 1st 2 years. In this school, there was no class rank and gpa’s were generally low, (ie this school wasn’t subject to the grade inflation issue these days). So I averaged a 2.9 the first 2 years. Then I transferred to a public school which is also one of the best in state. I’m taking all advanced courses, have a number of ap’s on my belt, and scored a 1340 on my math verbal SAT. My gpa in just my public school time is at 3.3 unweighted. I’m involved in a bunch of club, I’m an officer in 2 clubs, have headed events. But my overall class rank sucks (top 60%) because of the 1st two years. Can I get into a decent college? If not, what is the path that I should take?

How effective do you think the Collegeboard Official SAT Online Course is?

I am a junior in high school taking the SAT this march and I have been trying to study by myself to save money. On recent practice tests, I have gotten scores like 1850/1860 and my goal for my first attempt at the SAT is above a 1950 [getting above a 1950 means my parents will let me go on vacation with my friend's family this summer!]. I just enrolled in this online course a couple days ago and I have three weeks to improve my grade. My breakdown was as follows: Critical Reading- Writing- 650 and Math-650. I feel like i should be able to get at least around a 750 in math because I’m in Calculus, so maybe i was just having a bad day. Do you think the Collegeboard Online SAT course will help me or should i do something else? Also, what other ways are good to study at this point? Please take some time to answer. Thank you!

How can I improve my SAT score?

I got a 680- Critical Reading, 660- Math, and 580- Writing, during October- Junior Year with no preparation at all. The most difficult school I’d want to attend is Penn. What should I do to improve my scores to Penn’s range?

School and the SAT/ACT?

Ok so I took the SAT twice, but didn’t do very well.. (Probably due to lack of trying in School…) Being Home schooled.. Anyhow, I need some help… I got a high enough score on the SAT to get into the college I want, but I need to bring it up for a 4000 dollar scholarship from the school… It’s just for Critical Reading and Math, but if you can help with Writing as well, I will try to study that. Basically, I only got 920 between the two, which is horrible.
My Scores:

Critical Reading: 470, 480
Math: 440, 410
Writing: 470, 440

Those are the scores by 1st test then 2nd.
Now I believe the college I am going for takes the best of the two scores in Math and Reading, but either way, I would like to improve it.. I realize it would be hard, but there is no way for getting tutoring, and I believe the test is sometime in the next 3 months.. That as well as maybe taking the ACT test because I was told sometimes it is different for certain people..
Let me know your thoughts, thanks.

Are my SAT scores good?

I recently took a practice SAT in preparation for the real SAT in May. I just got my results. I got a 1790 overall, 510 for math, 600 critical reading, 680 for writing, and 8 for the essay.
My question is if these scores are good, considering it is my first SAT.
Also, what can I do to improve them? What did you guys do?
What colleges will these scores get me into?
I’m a junior currently.
Thanks

i got a score of 2030 on the oficial sat practice test on collegeboard.?

This is the very first time i took the sat test. Is the real test the same?
the detils are-
Critical Reading 600
Writing 640
Math 790
is it a good enough score.
how can i perform on the real test?

I need to improve my ACT scores? What should I do?

Composite: 26
English: 22
Mathematics: 32
Reading: 20
Science: 30
Writing: 8 out of 12

I know what to do in order to improve my math and writing. I have those under control because I’m a pro math major… I just need to not think about nothing for math. For writing I have to go fast because I only finished my introduction and my time was up.

However, I believe that I got extremely lucky with science because alot of it I guessed on and English and Reading I obviously had trouble with. I’m looking to raise every score so that I have a composite of about 30 or more so I really need to work on those two sections and I feel that I did well overall considering the fact that I studied 0% while everyone else was studying their butts off. What do you recommend I do study-wise to improve those two scores? I’m taking the SAT Reasoning Test this month so any tips for studying for that too? Because if I do better on SAT then I won’t need to retake the ACT. Help please..
and can I get something more than "get the ACT book and review it" or something like that..
