So I’m going to take the ACT soon and last time I took it, my reading score was very low. What kinds of reads would help me improve my reading comprehension for the ACT?
I’m hoping people can tell me what kinds of reads would be similar to the ACT in terms of difficulty so I can get used to reading "boring" stuff.
I have to retake my ACT agian in a couple days because last time I got a low score. But the problem is that havent had time to study for itbucause of job and school. and I have a study guide. and it is this saturday. what can I do to study and to not have a rough time taking the test.
I took the ACT test last year and got a pretty good score of 30. I’m probably going to take it again by the end of this school year, but I’m a bit unsure of how sending the score will work.
When I took it last year, I had no idea what colleges I wanted to attend and so I basically sent my score report to random ones. Now, this year, I have a better idea of what college I want to go to. Although I realize that only your best test score counts, the ACT web site says that only your score report for your specific test date will be sent to the colleges you choose. So, say I get a lower score on the ACT this time around and my score is sent to the new colleges I have chosen. Will they be able to only see this score, or will they also see that I scored a 30 last time?
I know, slightly confusing, but I am confused myself. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
alright, so my question is can u take the SAT 2 Subject Test(s) more than once like you can the SAT 1 and the ACT? also, when sending the scores to universities, how exactly does the "choosing" work? like say i took 2 SAT Subject Tests that i did really well in, but 1 im not satisfied with (and All on the same day)… then i take the SAME 3 a few months later and do the opposite. meaning i do good on the one i did badly in last time, and then do bad on the other 2. Would i be able to pick the 3 that i want by mixing up the tests? like choosing one from one day, and 2 from another test day? or is it like, if i send 1 i have to send ALL the others that i took on that day too? just wondering 
I got a 14 in science last time! I need to have at least a 20. Please help!
I have taken it 3 times already. I got a 27, 28, 28 respectively. The last time my reading score went way down. Is it even worth it for me to study for saturday? or should i just go into the test and see what happens?
if i should still study, how should i efficiently study to raise my score?
I am practicing out of the barrons sat book. I score lower than I would like to and lower than the last time i took the actual sat. So, are the barrons sat practice test more difficult than the real thing?
Do I have any real reason to worry?
My math score has improved from the 1st time to the last time i took the test by 150. It has been a steady increase.
my critical reading has been a steady range of 20 increase, decrease.
any pointers on how to increase it. i am looking for a 100 point increase mainly.

I just started out at 450, then got a 520, then 550 then 600.
Looking to get a 700, that is my ultimate goal. I would love that. So will see if that is possible =)
Hi!! I’m a senior in high school and I plan on taking the ACT test for the last time. Last time I took it, I made a 27 but I wanna make higher. The test is next week. I’ve been studying for about 2 months and wanted to know if anyone has any last minute tips they can offer me to ensure that I make the highest score possible. I already know about the "good night sleep, eat breakfast, POE…" and all the other basic info. If any one has any last minute tips that helped them achieve a high score, please share the wealth. I will be truly grateful.
ok so im here trying to review and study before i have to take the CPT (college placement test). im doing all these practice tests and study guides (working with a huge ACT guide for this lol ) to refresh my memory …. i took the CPT once before without studying and didnt do so well on it. so now im preparing myself 100xs better this time around. im happy to say that im doing much better on the practice tests now that ive reviewed alot but there are a few questions that i had to skip ….
now in the guide that im working out of, it mentioned something about skipping the question if i really didnt know how to solve it and that guessing was not recommended (something like that)…i dont exactly remember if you had the option to skip a question on the real CPT (since its done on computers)…ACT and CPT are different im assuming (i never took the ACT or SAT) and i remember when i was in high school they said the same thing but i cant remember for what tests it was ok to do so or what the pros and cons of doing that would be…. so yeah can someone please shed some light on this….should i, can i, skip questions on the CPT….how would that hurt my score as opposed to guessing and getting them wrong?? thank you in advance 
oh and when you got to take the CPT do they give you a simple calculator?? i cant remember last time i took it if they did or not ( ugh my memory is worse than i thought

for the record when i took the test the first time it was about a year ago, i went with a friend and i applied very last minute. she told me to take the test since we were already on campus and i took it without realizing how important it was (yea i was pretty much clueless about everything lol )
