I think i bombed the ACT test…what do you think?

hey everyone, I think I might have bombed my ACT test because i didnt get to finish it in the limited amount of time so when the teacher called for the remaining 5 minutes i quickly randomly bubbled in answers. For each section i had like 10-20 questions left blank so i just got really nervous and randomly bubbled in the rest. I hope a few of them are right because if not i definatley scored poorly. i have a feeling i made a 14….even lower….i dont know but if i did, that would be beyond embarrassing because i am a straight A student in high school….so how do you think my outcome score will be?

by the way the reason i take so long on tests, is because i have bad anxiety and i have to think about a question for a while before i answer.

School and the SAT/ACT?

Ok so I took the SAT twice, but didn’t do very well.. (Probably due to lack of trying in School…) Being Home schooled.. Anyhow, I need some help… I got a high enough score on the SAT to get into the college I want, but I need to bring it up for a 4000 dollar scholarship from the school… It’s just for Critical Reading and Math, but if you can help with Writing as well, I will try to study that. Basically, I only got 920 between the two, which is horrible.
My Scores:

Critical Reading: 470, 480
Math: 440, 410
Writing: 470, 440

Those are the scores by 1st test then 2nd.
Now I believe the college I am going for takes the best of the two scores in Math and Reading, but either way, I would like to improve it.. I realize it would be hard, but there is no way for getting tutoring, and I believe the test is sometime in the next 3 months.. That as well as maybe taking the ACT test because I was told sometimes it is different for certain people..
Let me know your thoughts, thanks.

Do you think i bombed the test?

My big ACT test today, i think i bombed it. Everything went wrong, only got 5 hours of sleep, woke up late, couldn’t find a pencil, when the test started i started getting stomach cramps. THE WORST PART WAS that i couldn’t finish any of the tests in time, there was on average, 10 questions i didn’t finish at the end… I AM SO UPSET, my mind went blank and i had to reread every question like 3 times..
yeah, I’ll retake it, it’s just embarassing for me because I’m a straight a student… I knew pretty much all the material, I was just so nervous, i was moving at a slow pace and I’ll pay the price for it

Consequences of Skipping the ACT test?

I am registered to take the ACT test tomorrow. BUt what happens if i decide i don’t need to take it and don’t show up for the test. What will happen?

For anyone who scored a 24 or higher on the ACT test…?

What did you do to get a 24 or 28 or 30 on the ACT Test? I GO T a19 the first time, in my senior year and that’s not good..i’m going to retake it and study in advance to get a 24 or higher because I know that I can…and plus..I’ve got good grades and a good gpa and I need a score that will show why I have such good grades, because in the end, I could have really awesome grades, straight a’s and all, but if I score a freakin 19 on the ACT test, that’s kinda lame…
intelligence is what counts not straight a’s or b’s..right?

I got a 26 on my act should i retake it?

I cant decide if i should retake my act test i got a 26 my first try and im wondering if that score will get me into any university without to much trouble. I have a 3.8 gpa. Is it worth it to retake the act or just a waste of time, im applying for schools this week.

Why take the ACT test with the writing portion on it?

I signed up for the ACT test and picked the one without the writing part on it because it was cheaper. Is there a real advantage to taking the longer ACT test?

Stat question on standaradized test. How high must a student score in order to place in the top 20% ?

ACT scores are distributed normally with a mean μ = 28 and a standard deviation
σ = 4.8.
How high must a student score in order to place in the top 20% of students taking the ACT test?
