SAT scoring and sending results to college…?
I took the SAT in MAy 2008 and got a 600 on the critical reading, 560 on the math, and 640 on the writing. I want to improve my math score. i am scheduled to take the SAT again tomorrow. im studying fro the math section the most. When i send my scores to colleges:
a. do both of my SAT test scores automatically go?
b. will they consider each test or will they mix/match my scores (taking the higest from each test)
im really trying to break a 1250 so any information will be helpful!
thanks so much! =)

If you requested your score be sent when you registered, they will go to those colleges as soon as they get scored. If you didn’t, you will have to request that your scores get sent (which costs $9.50 per college).
Paying for it would make both get sent.
They will use the test date where you got a higher score. They will not mix and match and will only use it from 1 test sitting.

a. Yes, they automatically go if you check off that you want them sent there. All tests get sent.
b. They do mix and match the best scores. However, if you intentionally don’t try on a section, it looks bad. Try to work hard on all of the sections. You never know if you can improve your other scores as well!
Good luck.
