Is Kaplan’s SAT prep course worth the money?
I was surprised to see that Kaplan’s SAT test prep costs over 0 for 12 prep classes. I’m also aware of the study guides at bookstores and College Board prep sites, but want the best preparation for the test.
Is the Kaplan test prep worth the money? Have you taken it and did it benefit you? If so, how?

Works for some people, just depends if you have the ability to sit through and read all of it.
I think the most current, straightforward, quick, and up-to-date is those SAT/ACT booklets the testing company distributes usually found in the counseling office or when you sign up. Though personally I think the study booklets made it look easy.

no.
I hate Kaplan’s services. They suck you in w/ their free diagnostics which are usually nothing like the real exams since they use their own fabricated questions.
And it is expensive.
If you are good at self-study then I would suggest buying some books and doing it on your own. If you need accountability, look into other programs or just create a local study group w/ others you know.
Good Luck.
