How much did your SAT or ACT score improve by?
I would have to improve by 250points if I want to get a good scholarship (but no boarding, book fees…etc).
Reading>Math
The first time I took it was during 10th grade and right now I’m a senior (in two weeks anyways). I didn’t take it last year because of the test fee…
Just wondering if NORMAL people out there have been able to bump their scores up more than the "predicted" 30points?
Also, how was the ACT? I haven’t taken it yet.
Edit: I’ve taken my core classes to the honors and AP level…but a class and a test are two different matters for me….
I heard the ACT was similar to state comprehensive assessments tests? Any of that seem true when you took it? Sounds like it if it measures from the curriculum.

The ACT is a LOT easier than the SAT. I recommend trying the ACT if you have taken a great deal of math and science courses throughout high school. The ACT is more curriculum based, so if you have taken a lot of classes you should do fine. Since your a senior it makes sense to at least try. Plus, since more people take the SAT you have a higher chance of ranking in a higher percentile.
