How Good are my SAT Subject Tests Scores for Biology E and Us History? Should I Retake Them?
So I got a 650 on BIology E, and a 600 on US history. I was wondering if I should retake them because I’m afraid of doing worse. I had to take it in May because I couldn’t take the June one, so it was before the AP exams and I didn’t feel well prepared. If I did want to retake it, I would have to wait until after summer in October or something.
I am going to take Biology M too. But for the US History one, I didn’t study at all, I just took what I remembered from class the whole year because I didn’t have time since I was studying for the BIology E one. So do you think I will improve if I retake it?
I don’t plan to major in history, but in Biology instead. I don’t need an Ivy League Status score, but one that will get me into a UC at least or will get colleges to think, "Hey, this girl is a good biology student."
Thanks for your input!

you might want to take the history one again because if you get 50 points higher on the biology e one, it might make you not look very well rounded (meaning only good at biology and only biology).

Retake!!
unless you forgot everything
but study, like a lot
like more than an hour a day for each test

Colleges don’t require subject tests, so taking the initiative to take them at all bodes well in a colleges eyes.
I think that those are really good scores, and you should be happy with them. SAT Subject test scores, on top of regular SAT scores, on top of AP test scores will def. be enough, even if they aren’t all 800s and 5s.
Unless you know that if you take the test again you can really improve your scores, I wouldn’t bother.
