Is the College Board provided practice test for the Bio SAT really real tests? I found that on their practice test, I scored much higher than on the practice tests of Barron, Kaplan, Sparknotes

I keep getting scores in the 600s and i want to raise it to the 700s. i have two weekends left before the test and i really want to improve my score. does anyone have any suggestions?

Are there any vocabulary tests online?

Like in school where you get 20 different words and you have to know the meaning and definition. But with hard SAT words.
A website that is updated frequently with new words and new tests?

I took Honors Bio in 10th grade but I didn’t learn a thing. My teacher was horrible and did not even give notes. We learned the material by doing endless amounts of worksheets.

I’m currently thinking about taking the SAT Bio Ecology Exam because I’m in AP Environmental Science. However, I know very little about Bio besides ecology, and I need a way to learn the material, review, and prepare for the exam.
I’m probably going to buy several review books (Barron’s, Kaplan, Princeton Review). I’m also thinking about buying a used textbook to review.
What review book and what textbook do you guys recommend? (Textbook needs to cover all the material and be easy to understand and get through).
Any other recommendations for SAT Bio preparation?

so i’ve taken rly tough courses and worked my butt off and tried my best. my UW GPA is like 3.75? and my W GPA is like 5.7 or smth?

and I’ve played lacrosse for my school since 9th grade, and i am the founder/president of a club called Global Citizen Corps(where we do dif. stuff to fight poverty n hunger n other issues), I’m in NHS & Nat’l French Honors Society, Academic Team, French Club, Treasurer of Future Doc. of America, Nat’l Society of High School Scholors Ambassador, n a lot more clubs/societies
I’m rly involved in my community and volunteer quite often
I had a job this summer working for my city government
I’ve gone to many leadership n entrepreneurship n college prep summer programs/camps
I’ve always won an Academic Excellence award and Sports Scholar award every year (i also got Most Improved Player award two yrs ago)
N being an IB Diploma Candidate is pretty impressive in itself…
But I’ve taken SAT only once n got a 1900 – im going to try again in OCt., my goal is to get over 2000
I’m going to take the ACT in sept. (goal is to get 30)
ive taken SAT Subject tests – for Chem i got 710 n for US Hist i got 690

do you guys think i have a good chance into getting into some good colleges? im not that great of an essay writer, pretty mediocre i would say. my first choice is NYU – i RLY want to go there. im also applying to UPenn, Duke(in-state), UNC-Chapel Hill, Wake Forest, n NC State(as backup)

I wish to develop a website through which a user can take a mock gmat/gre/sat or other exam online after paying a moderate fees? Do u think this business will work esp in India. Is there any website which has been succesfull in this field?

I am planning to take the spring SAT my first time my junior year in the spring. My math in junior year is the normal avergae Algebra 2. This is because I am in normal math and will not be able to take the SAT in ocotber due to my incapability to complete Algebra 2 questions.

Should I take the courses in summer tho since it will help in my PSAT and future SAT?

I have looked up Kaplan, Princeton Review, and SylvanPrep, and have pretty much narrowed it down to pick between those three. OF those which one would you pick to prepare for the 0ct 14 2006 test, and why? Please be detailed, provide details from your own experience, and provide pros/cons. Also, what books would be ideal to supplement the course in my free month of August? I have heard a great deal about Princeton Review books and the College board guide, but are they actually helpful? Again, please provide details from personal experience and pros/cons and perhaps suggestions I may have not heard of yet.
