Best ways to prepare for the SATs and ACT?
Can you list every tip that will help do good (I’m a freshman)…I mean I know to get the SAT and ACT prep book and practice, read books of higher level, reading the dictionary, possibly tutoring if affordable but what else is there?

Take SAT prep classes
Take a pre test
Study parts of the SAT book( there’s many things that you don’t know that will be on the tests.)
I suggest you yahooing college level vocabulary because there are many vocabs that weren’t taught in high school.
Before the big day, get a good rest and on the day have a big healthy breakfast.

Start writing everyday, like a journal. It really helped me with the writing section on the test.
I don’t think you should read a dictoionary because they are BORING. Try studying a word or 2 per day. Use them and you’ll always be able to remember (:

You and others forgot the best tip of all. Do and master your work in class. That is really the best preparation./

Get the book called The Official SAT study guide by The College Board
This book is made by the people who actually make the test!
It is the best thing out there!!!!!!!!!!
Read the book and then do the practice tests.
Read lots of novels— It will help you on the essay portion of the test.
Ask your teachers at school if they could help you– Just ask the right ones!
Also get another SAT vocab book and memorize a few words a day.
Good Luck
