in general. I took a practice SAT (not a PSAT), and got the following low results:

Math: 560
Critical Reading: 490
Writing: 390

Now im smart grade wise with almost all subjects 90+%, and I wrote a decent essay (8/10). I just have a bad vocabulary and I work slow >_<. Any and all SAT test taking tips would be apreciated . Also How would you comprehend more? That’s also an area im stuggling in

I took a practice SAT test and I got a 1470. A 450 in Critical Reading, a 620 in writing, and a 400 in Math. I’m 15 going 16. I’m entering my junior year. I’m aiming for at least a 1700 on the SAT. Is this goal in my reach? Can I get some advice?

If I retake the SAT, and improve on certain sections but drop in others, would I have the option of sending ONLY the highest scores from each section, or must I simply send the highest ADDED score?

as you can see, math KILLED my chances of reaching my goal. How can I improve my math score for next time aroud, are there any specific formulas repeated on every test that i should know?

i took my first SAT practice test and got a 2030. i would really like to have a 2300 by the time i actually take the SAT. Im taking a class right now and I’m willing to work on my own, is this realistic? also, what score would be good enough to qualify for National Merit on the PSAT?

I got a 266 on the NJASK in english
and a 265 on the math section…

im in 8th grade. this was the 7th grade scores.
most of my friends scored really high scores like

300/300 or something near that…

and i got an invite to take the SAT’s but it wouldnt count; so i did take them last year and i got a 1320

most of my friends scored 1500 and above..

im in advanced courses. but i want to feel more proud of myself.

it crushes my self esteem when i compare myself to them

what study methods can help me?

I’ve heard that some schools look at your highest total score, some take the highest in each subject, and some average all SAT scores. I’m mostly concerned about the last kind of schools, which UC and/or CSU schools average all scores?
Does this mean that I should take the December SAT to improve my average? It would be my 3rd SAT reasoning test this year and 4th reasoning test ever.

I just recently recieved my SAT score, and it’s an 1810.

This is kinda disappointing for me, because I want to try my chance at colleges like UC Berkely and UC Davis, as well as some more highly selective ones.

How can I improve my score until June when I take the test again? Answers HIGHLY appreciated. I want to go to medical school.

im a junior in high school and just took a practice sat test(the first time) and got a 1680. i’m taking a kaplan sat prep course now. but is it possible to signifacantly increase the score? i’m also not a native speaker( we just moved here last year cause of dad’s business) so the cr section is especially hard (i got a 540)
