My daughter and I want an early start for ACT prep does anyone know the best brand for this and if it comes in CD-ROM form?

im a high school junior and i want to take an SAT prep course, where are they offering classes? ive looked on the internet on college websites and none seem to have any info on the site, but im sure they have classes available. someone help please im tired of searching.

i am a sophmore and i am taking the act so that i am more prepared. i got my results and i got a composite of 20. im trying to do some planning becuase the one i take next year would really count and im thinking of taking the prep classes

do they really help?
any advice?

What is the best ACT preparation book out on the market? I’m think of using The Princeton Review Cracking The ACT 2007 Edition. What do you think?

I want a good one and money isn’t an option, but they all seem to get pretty good reviews, so I don’t know which one I should invest in. Any suggestions? Remember to be specific because some companies create more then one book, like the Princeton Review has a couple of prep books. And if you can state why that is the better ACT prep book, or if there is one that is not very good state that too.

I already have the Real ACT prep guide.

I want another one. Which is better?

1) Princeton Review: Cracking the ACT with DVD

2) Kaplan ACT 2008 Premier Program with CD-ROM

3) Barron’s ACT, 2007-2008 with CD-ROM

I am aiming for a 30 on the ACT. And I would have to say my weak points are the reading section and maybe english. Thanks!

I am in my sophomore (10th grade) year in high school and I think it’s about time I took a SAT Prep class. I am planning on taking my PSAT the end of this year, but maybe I’ll take the PREP class next summer for more time. I live in California btw.

Do you have any recommendations for SAT Prep classes for getting into exceptional universities? I’ve heard of the Princeton Review and Catalyst but I’m not sure which ones are effective. Help please =(

Does anyone have any books or websites that they would recommend for average students to use, to help with preparing for the ACT exams?

I have been working on the Princeton Review book. I am trying to raise my 1470 SAT score to an 1800 but so far I keep falling in the low 1700s range and I am trying to raise my scores in that area. Now school has begun so I have to put more emphasis on weekends.

Also, can self prep really raise your SAT score by a lot of points?

Are the Princeton Review SAT prep books harder than the real SAT or something?
